Our first annual Science Fair was held at Rosary College on Tuesday 10th November as part of Science Week. We invited students from our local primary schools and also students from Rosary College to attend. We all had a fabulous day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the experiments and games. We had various stalls including: Dissecting a heart, blindfold taste testing, potato clock experiment, how many crackers can you eat in a minute, make your own lava lamp, acid & rock experiment, exploding volcanoes, gravity experiment, metamorphic rock demo, erosion demo, Skeleton challenge. The biggest attraction was our giant bubble demo, where students AND teachers had a go at being inside a large bubble! We also had giant games such as operation, buzz off, twistair and connect4. The students manned all the stalls and they were fantastic. Well done to all involved and thank you to all who visited.
